As detailed, out of the 120 crypto companies operating in Spain, there are 76 (63%) that deal with financial services and 44 (36%) that deal with non-financial services.
“In the last report of the ‘Crypto Companies Guide’ up to November 2020, 120 companies are registered, in contrast to September 2020, where 112 were registered,” they contrasted.

In terms of the type of services offered, there are 76 financial services companies, of which “the majority of companies are Investment (16 companies), Exchanges (13 companies) and Payments Transferences (10 companies) which concentrate 62% of the total”.
For non-financial services (44) there are advisory and certification services with 9 and 7 companies respectively (36% of the total).
“In terms of the number of employees, there is a record 1,071 employees in crypto companies, an increase of 51 employees from September 2020 when 1,020 employees were registered,” they said.
Most jobs are in financial services with 690 employees and in the case of non-financial services 381 employees.
