At least fourteen members of the Iranian security forces and Allied militias were killed in the Israeli airstrike on their positions in eastern Syria on Monday evening, the Syrian human rights observatory said.
According to this London-based body and a network of whistleblowers in Syria, the deceased are Iranians and Iraqis. The attack targeted posts operated by the Iranians and their allies in the desert area east of Deir Ezzor. There were also injuries so that the balance could improve.
Syrian state media reported late Monday that the country’s country’s defense had intercepted an Israeli missile attack in the northern province of Aleppo.
State agency SANA, citing a military source, said that “an enemy plane” had launched rocket attacks on some military tanks in the Al Safira region east of Aleppo. He also found that the attack also targeted a research center in Aleppo.
