French Health Ministry’s Director General for Health, Jérôme Salomon, has reported 369 coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing France to 22,614 deaths.
The number represents a slight decrease compared to Friday, when the French government reported 389 deaths.
France differentiates between 14,050 deaths in hospitals and 8,564 deaths in socio-sanitary facilities, mainly in nursing homes.
The decline in hospital stays also continues: 436 fewer occupied beds for a total of 28,222 patients, including 999 new discharges. In addition, 4,725 people are in intensive care, including the 124 new cases between Friday and Saturday, and 44,594 have been discharged and returned home.
