The Iranian president sees signs of stabilization as the country again has more than 2,500 infections

Iranian President Hasan Rohani said on Saturday that the most coronavirus-affected areas in the country appear to have stabilized somewhat, while the national balance has exceeded 2,500 cases a day this Saturday.

“The provinces, which were already in difficult conditions today, have passed the peak of the corona virus,” said Rohani, who once estimated that the country could reach between 25 and 30 million infections, figures later nuanced by his advisors.

On Saturday’s balance sheet, the country has already confirmed 306,752 infections and a total of 16,982 deaths since the epidemic was declared. Of the new cases, 1,067 are hospitalized and the total number of seriously ill patients is 4,011.

It is positive to note that the country has already registered 265,830 registrations.

The spokesman finally reported that the provinces of Tehran, Mazandarán, Golestán, Fars, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Isfahan, Alborz, Ilam, Jorasan Razavi, Kerman, Jorasán del Norte, Semnan, Lorestan and Hormozgán are on alert.
