EU heads of state and government will meet again this Sunday at 12 noon on the third day of negotiations to reach an agreement on the economic fund and the Community budget for the next seven years.
The meeting this Saturday was full of bilateral meetings and group contacts, and the heads of state and government met only twice. The first from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the second from 9 p.m. to shortly after 11.10 p.m.
After the second, the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, suspended the summit and called on the Heads of State or Government to start a new negotiating day, starting this Sunday at 12 noon and leaving room for bilateral contacts in search of a draft, with which you can try the deal.
Member States have now collected two consecutive days of negotiations to reach agreement on the Community budget for 2021-2027 and the recovery fund to boost the European economy after the COVID 19 pandemic.
