Former Ethereum Foundation investigator Virgil Griffith plans to file a lawsuit against him for a trip to North Korea.
Griffith “Now he’s going to request the transfer of the case because he doesn’t stand before the United States District Court for the southern district of New York,” Inner City Press said in a July 23 report.

Griffith was indicted by the U.S. District Court for the southern district of New York in January 2020 for trips to North Korea, There he informed the parties about the use of cryptocurrencies and their ability to fly under legal radar. The authorities arrested Griffith in November 2019.
Brian E. Klein, Griffith’s legal advisor, petitioned the courts to allow the defendants to use the Internet on July 20, citing advice on an in-depth job proposal; Inner City Press reported. The Ethereum Foundation suspended Grifith and provided reasons to explain why the accused would be interested in a job offer.

Castel, the New York judge in the case “argued about the place if not the terms of the bond” on July 23, Inner City Press detailed.
