Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has yet to set a deadline for the state to reopen in the coronavirus pandemic crisis.
“I’m less concerned about certain dates than about getting them right,” DeSantis said at a press conference picked up on CNN television.
The Florida Governor’s reopening task force should deliver its recommendations to DeSantis this Friday. With this in mind, the governor has determined that he will investigate them this weekend and implement a reopening plan “in the coming days”. “When it will start (the reopening) has not yet been determined,” he decided.
According to the Florida Department of Health, a total of 30,533 coronavirus cases have been discovered in the territory while 1,046 people have been killed.
