LONDON, Dec. 24 (Reuters / EP) –
The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, has left the London hospital on Tuesday where he has been receiving medical treatment since Friday after being discharged, which will allow him to join the rest of the royal family at Christmas celebrations.
The husband of Queen Elizabeth II of England has walked out of the King Edward VII hospital and said goodbye shaking the hand of a nurse before getting into a Range Rover car to leave the medical center.
The Duke of Edinburgh is expected to join the rest of the members of the British royal family, who have gathered at Sandringham's cottage in eastern England. Prince Felipe was admitted to the hospital last Friday to receive medical treatment for a previous health problem, Buckingham Palladium reported that day.
On Monday, Prince Carlos said that his father was well, which led him to think that he could be discharged to join the Christmas celebrations with the rest of the members of the British royal family.
