KIEV, Aug 29 (Reuters / EP) –
At least eight people have died, including a child, from the collapse of an apartment building in western Ukraine, emergency services reported Thursday.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night in the city of Drohobych, in the Lvivi region and, according to emergency services, the building would have collapsed after a gas explosion.
Initially it had been reported that only one person had died in the accident. Emergency services have reported that rescue operations have already been completed.
