The death toll from the explosion, which was recorded in a clinic in Tehran’s Iranian capital on Tuesday evening, has risen to 19, the authorities of the Asian country confirmed on Wednesday.

The clinic was the scene of a fire that later caused an explosion, Yalal Maleki, spokesman for the Tehran fire department, said on Tuesday of the possible explosion of several oxygen cylinders due to the flames.
