The Costiera Guard transfers 49 migrants from the ship ‘Louise Michel’.

The Italian Coast Guard’s rescue service, the Guardia Costiera, announced this Saturday that it had transferred 49 migrants from the rescue ship ‘Louise Michel’, which had issued an emergency call because of its inability to navigate because of its inability to navigate with more than 200 people rescued last hours in the central Mediterranean.

Given the weight on deck and the expected deterioration in sea meteorological conditions in the region, the “Louise Michel” turned to the Coast Guard National Aid Center in Rome and asked for the intervention of shipments to provide assistance.
