The coronavirus pandemic sets a daily record with 154,000 cases and more than 420,000 deaths

The pandemic of the new coronavirus from the Chinese city of Wuhan has recorded 154,000 cases in the last 24 hours, which is a new daily record and the total number has increased to more than 7.5 million positives and more than 420,000 deaths, according to the latest report by Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 9:00 am this Friday, the global coronavirus balance is 7.5 million cases and 421,516 deaths in 188 countries and areas. The total number of people recovered exceeds 3.5 million, with the United States at the top of the list with 540,292 people healed.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, with 2.02 million infected and 113,820 fatalities after a renewed increase in the daily balance, which has ended in the past 24 hours with 22,900 cases.

Brazil remains in second place with 32,100 positive results in the last 24 hours, representing more than 802,828 infected people and 40,919 deaths. Russia remains in third place with 501,800 positive and 6,522 deaths after adding 8,800 cases from the previous balance.
