The coronavirus pandemic leaves more than 400,000 dead and seven million cases worldwide

The new coronavirus pandemic originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has left more than 400,000 deaths and just over seven million infected worldwide, according to the latest from Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, the global equilibrium of the coronavirus amounts to 7,015,128 cases and 402,285 deaths in 188 countries and areas.

The total number of people recovered exceeds 3.14 million, with the United States at the top of the list, with 506,367 people cured, followed by Brazil with 283,952 patients rescued and Russia with 226,272.

With 1.94 million people and 110,514 deaths, the United States is by far the most infected country in the world.
