The coronavirus pandemic leaves more than 391,000 dead and 6.6 million cases worldwide

The new coronavirus pandemic originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has left more than 391,000 deaths and more than 6.6 million infected worldwide, according to the latest Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 9:00 am this Friday, the global coronavirus balance is 6.6 million cases and 391,261 deaths in 188 countries and areas.

The total number of people recovered exceeds 2.87 million, with the United States toping the list with 485,002 healed people, followed by Brazil with 254,963 rescued patients and Russia with 204,197.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, adding 21,100 cases in the last 24 hours, with 1.87 million infected and 108,211 deaths.
