The coronavirus pandemic leaves more than 380,000 dead and 6.3 million cases worldwide

The new coronavirus pandemic originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has left more than 380,000 deaths and more than 6.3 million infected worldwide, according to the latest from Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the global coronavirus balance is 6.3 million cases and 380,331 deaths in 188 countries and areas.

The total number of people recovered exceeds 2.73 million, with the United States at the top of the list, with 463,868 people cured, followed by Brazil with 223,638 rescued patients and Russia with 186,602.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, with over 20,000 cases growing daily. In the past 24 hours, 20,800 positives have been reported, 1.83 million infected and 106,181 deaths.
