The coronavirus pandemic setting in China is already leaving more than 22.67 million cases worldwide after nearly 267,000 infections occurred in the past 24 hours. This emerges from the impact on the balance offered by Johns Hopkins University this Thursday in the 188 countries and territories.
A total of 22,679,466 people were infected with the virus, which has already resulted in 793,710 deaths, around 6,000 more than the previous day. In addition, more than 14.54 million people have managed to overcome the disease, with Brazil being the most recovered country at 2.84 million, followed by India, which has exceeded 2.1 million.
The United States remains the hardest hit country with 5.57 million cases. With the more than 174,200 deaths that COVID-19 has claimed to date, they are also at the forefront in this section.
Brazil ranks second among both the infected and the deceased, with more than 3.5 million cases and more than 112,300 deaths. In third place is India with more than 2.9 million registered cases and nearly 55,000 deaths.
