The coronavirus pandemic leaves 345,000 dead and 5.4 million infected worldwide

The new coronavirus pandemic originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has already left 345,000 deaths and more than 5.4 million infected people worldwide. The United States has added more than 20,000 balance cases to Johns Hopkins University in the past 24 hours.

According to data updated at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, the global coronavirus balance is 5.41 million cases and 345,105 deaths in 188 countries and areas.

The total number of people recovered exceeds 2.16 million, with the United States at the top of the list, with 366,736 people cured, followed by Germany with 161,281 rescued patients and Spain with 150,376.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, adding 20,500 cases in the last 24 hours, for a total of 1.64 million people infected and 97,722 deaths.
