The coronavirus pandemic has already left 20.6 million infections and around 750,000 deaths worldwide

The coronavirus pandemic has a balance of 20.6 million infected people in 188 countries affected by COVID-19, including about 750,000 deaths and 12.8 million rescued patients from Johns Hopkins University.

There are already 20,624,316 infected and 749,421 deceased, 328,973 positives and 7,998 deaths more than on the previous day, although at the same time the number of cured patients has increased from 12.5 to 12.8 million.

The United States remains the most pandemic-hit country in the world with 5,197,147 cases and 166,027 deaths, followed by Brazil, which has already exceeded 100,000 deaths (104,201) for a total of 3,164,785 infections, and India, with 2,396. 637 infected and 47,033 deceased.

Russia ranks fourth with 900,745 and 15,231, followed by South Africa – the hardest hit country in Africa – with 568,919 and 11,010; Mexico (498,380 and 54,666), Peru (489,680 and 21,501); Colombia (422,519 and 13,837); Chile (378,168 and 10,205); and Iran (333,699 and 18,988), which complete the “top ten”.
