The coronavirus pandemic exceeds five million people infected with more than 328,000 deaths

The pandemic of the new corona virus originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has resulted in more than 328,000 deaths and more than five million infected people worldwide. Brazil had 19,700 cases, its daily record and the United States added another 23,300 positives in the past 24 hours, according to the latest from Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 8:30 a.m. this Thursday, the global coronavirus balance is 5,000,038 cases and 328,172 deaths in 188 countries and areas.

The total number of people recovered rises to 1.89 million, with the United States topping the list with 294,312 healed people, followed by Germany with 156,996 rescued patients and Spain with 150,376.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, adding 23,300 more cases in the past 24 hours, for a total of 1.55 million people infected and 93,439 deaths.
