The coronavirus pandemic exceeds 9 million cases with more than 472,000 deaths

The pandemic of the new corona virus originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has recorded a total of 142,000 cases in the last 24 hours, which equates to 9.1 million infected people and more than 472,000 deaths worldwide, according to the latest report by Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the global coronavirus balance is 9.1 million cases and 472,216 deaths in 188 countries and territories. The total number of people recovered exceeds 4.52 million, with the United States at the top of the list with 640,198 people healed.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, with 2.31 million people infected and 120,402 deaths after registering 31,000 cases in the last 24 hours.

Brazil remains in second place with 1.1 million infections and 51,271 deaths after 23,100 positives have been added since the previous balance. Russia remains in third place with 591,465 positive and 8,196 deaths.
