The pandemic of the new corona virus from the Chinese city of Wuhan has exceeded 13.1 million cases worldwide with more than 573,000 deaths. This is reflected in the global balance sheet published by Johns Hopkins University at 9:00 am on Tuesday.
The United States, which has 3.3 million cases of COVID-19, is also the country topping the list of deaths, with 135,605 deaths. Brazil is the country with the most recovered patients, with 1.88 million positives and 72,833 deaths, with 1.29 million people saved, while the United States accumulates more than one million discharged patients.
For its part, India has exceeded 900,000 cases since Tuesday, with a total of 906,752 infections and 23,727 deaths. Then Russia accumulates 732,547 cases and 11,422 deaths. Peru is in fifth place with 330,123 positive and 12,054 deaths, close to the data for Chile, which accumulates 317,657 infections and 7,024 deaths.
MEXIKO accumulates more than 300,000 POSITIVES
Mexico, for its part, exceeds 300,000 cases with a total of 304,435 infected and 35,491 deaths, while the UK has 291,691 people with coronavirus and 44,915 deaths.
