The coronavirus pandemic exceeds 477,000 deaths with more than 9.2 million infected

The new coronavirus pandemic originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has recorded a total of 164,800 cases in the past 24 hours. This equates to a total of 9.2 million infected and more than 477,000 deaths worldwide, the latest report from Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the global coronavirus balance is 9.2 million cases and 477,601 deaths in 188 countries and areas. The total number of people recovered exceeds 4.63 million, with the United States at the top of the list with 647,548 people healed.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, with 2.34 million people infected and 121,228 fatalities after 34,700 cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

Brazil remains in second place with 1.14 million infections and 52,645 deaths after 39,400 positive results since the previous balance. Russia remains in third place with 598,878 positive and 8,349 deaths.
