The coronavirus pandemic exceeds 19 million infected people worldwide

The coronavirus pandemic has passed the 19 million mark, including about 715,000 deaths, but also more than 11.5 million recovered patients in the 188 countries affected by COVID-19 this Friday from Jhons Hopkins University.

A total of 19,091,446 people became infected with the virus and 714,767 have died from it, compared with 18,812,355 and 707,704 on Thursday. So in those 24 hours there was an increase of 279,091 positive and 7,063 deaths. although at the same time the cured has increased from 11.3 to 11.5 million.

At the top of this world rankings is the United States with 59,755 new cases and 1,848 additional deaths, for a total of 4,883,646 and 160,104. followed by Brazil with nearly three million infections (2,912,212) and 100,000 deaths (98,493) after a daily increase of 53,139 and 1,237; and India, which has already reached two million infected people (2,027,074), including 41,585 deaths, up from 62,538 and 886, respectively.

Russia, which has recorded 870,187 positive and 14,579 deaths; South Africa, the hardest hit country in Africa, with 538,184 and 9,604 respectively; Mexico (462,690 and 50,517), Peru (447,624 and 20,228); Chile (366,671 and 9,889); Colombia (357,710 and 11,939) and Iran (320,117 and 17,976) complete the “top ten”.
