The coronavirus pandemic exceeds 17.8 million infections and exceeds 685,000 deaths worldwide

The coronavirus pandemic has already infected more than 17.8 million people, including more than 685,000 deaths in 188 countries around the world, with the United States, Brazil and India the most affected, according to Johns University Hopkins.

As of August 2, COVID-19 had 17,859,763 infected people worldwide, including 685,179 deaths, after registering 258,000 new cases in the past few hours. On a positive note, the balance of the recovered people is already 10.5 million.

The United States remains the country most affected by the virus, with 4,620,502 cases and 154,449 deaths, followed by Brazil with 2,707,877 infected and 93,563 deaths, and India with 1,750,723 infections and 37,364 deaths.
