The pandemic of the new corona virus originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has registered 230,400 new cases in the last 24 hours. This marks a new record in daily calculations, bringing the total to more than 13.5 million infected and more than 584,000 deaths, according to the global balance sheet released by Johns Hopkins University this Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
The United States accumulates 3.49 million cases after adding 66,300 new positives in the last 24 hours, the third highest number in its daily count. It is also the country with the most deaths with 137,419 deaths.
Brazil is the country with the most recovered patients, with 1.35 million people rescued, with 1.96 million positives and 75,366 deaths, including 39,900 new cases from the previous balance, while the United States accumulates more than one million discharged patients.
