The coronavirus pandemic breaks a record with 139,500 cases within 24 hours and exceeds 443,000 deaths

The pandemic of the new corona virus from the Chinese city of Wuhan has registered 139,500 cases in the last 24 hours. This marks a new record in daily counting, bringing more than 8.17 million people infected and more than 443,000 deaths, according to the latest Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, the global coronavirus balance is 8.17 million cases and 443,730 deaths in 188 countries and areas. The total number of people recovered exceeds 3.95 million, with the United States at the top of the list with 585,803 people healed.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, with 2.13 million people infected and 116,983 fatalities after 23,700 cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

Brazil remains in second place, posting a positive 34,900 in the past 24 hours. This is the new record in the daily count that accounts for 923,189 infected and 45,241 deaths. Russia remains in third place with 544,725 positive results and 7,274 deaths after adding 8,200 cases from the previous balance.
