The corona virus already sheds more than 4.5 million infections and has died nearly 310,000 times worldwide

The pandemic of the new corona virus originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has resulted in more than 307,000 deaths and more than 4.5 million infected people worldwide, according to the latest Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated this Saturday at 8:20 a.m., the global coronavirus balance is 4,543,297 cases and 307,705 deaths in 188 countries and areas.

The total number of people recovered rose to 1.63 million, with the United States topping the list with 250,727 recoveries, followed by Germany with 151,597 rescued patients and Spain with 144,783.

In a week with fewer than 20,000 cases registered per day on two consecutive days, the United States has added 25,100 cases in the past 24 hours, for a total of 1.44 million infected and 87,568 deaths.
