The Constitutional Court rejects last-minute requests to postpone the elections

The Constitutional Court of the Central African Republic (CAR) on Saturday rejected last-minute attempts by several opposition candidates to postpone the elections, paving the way for the final vote that Sunday despite the political crisis and the armed offensive of several rebel groups in the face of President Faustin’s refusal -Archange Touadéra to change the date of the convocation.
