British police arrested four men on Thursday for allegedly planning two terrorist attacks in London and Leicestershire.
The four men were arrested by agents of the police anti-terrorist unit on suspicion of “being involved in the commissioning, preparation or inciting of acts of terrorism,” the security forces said in a statement.
Suspects aged 17, 27 and 31 were arrested in East London, while a fourth man was arrested in Leicestershire, central England. One of them had to be hospitalized after being injured by a police dog bite.
All of them are in custody while various searches are being carried out and investigations are underway, the agents have highlighted.
