The Brazilian government’s accounts pull 170 deaths from the numbers of the state health authorities

Health authorities in the Brazilian state counted 849 deaths this Monday, 170 more than the 679 that the Department of Health offered after the change in methodology requested by President Jair Bolsonaro. This consists of the 24-hour death count and not all of those who were registered after notification, regardless of when they occurred.

In view of Bolsonaro’s demands, the main Brazilian media have come together to continue reporting the numbers. The number of additional cases is 19,631, in contrast to the 15,654 published by the Ministry and now in the hands of Bolsonaro’s trustworthy man, General Army Eduardo Pazuello.

According to the international parameters of Johns Hopkins University, Brazil adds 710,887 cases and 37,312 deaths. According to the Brazilian Ministry of Health, 707,412 positive and 37,134 deaths.

After Brazil has repeatedly recorded more than a thousand deaths a day in the past few days, Bolsonaro has instructed federal health authorities to change the calculation of victims.
