The blockchain landscape in Singapore has grown by more than 50% since last year

A group of organizations came together to draft what the blockchain landscape in Singapore would look likeand it’s much bigger in 2020 than in 2019.

Announced at the Unitize Blockchain conference, The plan is supported by a government agency in Singapore called Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).and for the most part is a collection of company logos organized by specific business areas. The categories presented here range from business services to smart citiesGo through protocol and infrastructure and beyond.

A notable addition for 2020 is decentralized finance (DeFi), a sector that appears to be gaining momentum worldwide.Temasek was recently the first Asian company to partner with the Libra Association. Also The global recruitment of jobs that require blockchain knowledge has increased.

Total, In the 2020 plan, 234 companies are represented in 26 categories. That is 91 more companies represented than in the previous year indicates growth of over 50%.
