The Swiss government announced on Wednesday that it would reduce the restrictions imposed by the corona virus prematurely and reopen shops, markets, schools, museums and restaurants on May 11th.
“The executive is reducing the measures in place. As of May 11th, classes could start again in primary and secondary schools,” says a statement posted on their website.
In it, he emphasized that “shops, markets, museums, libraries and restaurants could be opened even with strict precautionary measures”.
The government has stressed that “it still considers the situation to be exceptional in line with the Epidemic Act”, although it added that “it will gradually start reducing these measures”.
