While TikTok is deciding who to sell its US operations to, given the threats posed by the Administration Donald TrumpThe conglomerate Alphabet has launched a new tool for YouTube called Shorts that allows users to record 15-second videos.

Short is said to be the platform of choice for social media users who want to record and edit shorts from the comfort of their cell phone. They have an extensive library of songs and special effects for the vertical clips they record.
