South Korea is experiencing a new outbreak after group infection in a company in the north of the country

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention in South Korea (KCDC) reported on Monday that a new outbreak has occurred after a group infection in an e-commerce company in the city of Bucheon in the north of the country.

The authorities have registered 35 new cases, 30 of which have been broadcast locally. The majority concerned a distribution center for computer products.

The total number of infections is 11,503 and that of the deceased is 271 after the death registered on the last day. On the other hand, about 10,422 people were released from the illness after recovery, the Yonhap news agency points out.

At least 111 cases have been related to this Bucheon logistics center since the first positive result was confirmed in late May. However, the authorities have also pointed out that massive new cases related to religious centers and nightlife continue to occur in Seoul.
