South Africa adds nearly 2,000 more cases and 112 deaths on the final day

South Africa added nearly 2,000 more infections this Friday and is continuing to move towards 650,000 infections. It remains the African country hardest hit by the pandemic on the African continent.

According to the National Ministry of Health, 1,960 infections were registered on the last day, so that 646,398 people in the country have already tested positive.

In addition, there were an additional 113 deaths, resulting in a total of 15,378 deaths, while the recovered patients are already 574,587, representing a recovery rate of 88.9 percent.
