Public spaces were emptied during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even from the ground, the change is clear – the sights are deserted and our streets are car-free – but the contrast is even clearer from above.

As the restrictions gradually wear off, these images are reminiscent of the extraordinary changes around the world.

It’s time to stay home
