There are still six months to go before the Colombian Financial Supervisory Authority (SFC) has determined to develop the first cryptoactive pilot project in this country. And only one alliance has started work: that of MOVii and Bitpoint. This was reported by Colombia Fintech, where they detailed that MOVii and Bitpoint have already completed 2,000 users and traded $ 500 million.
The alliances that Banco de Bogotá and Bancolombia are part of are expected to be the next to operate.
The alliances are formed by the Banco de Bogotá together with Bitso and Buda.com; Bancolombia with twins; Coltefinanciera with Obsidiam; Davivienda and Powwi with Binance; Coin with Banexcoin; and MOVIi with Panda and Bitpoint.
Hernando Rubio, CEO of MOVii, commented:

According to the publication by Colombia Fintech, an evaluation and monitoring committee was responsible for selecting the participants in this pilot project. â ???? The group consisted of the Presidency of the Republic, the SFC, the Superintendent of Companies, the Financial Information and Analysis Unit (Uiaf) and the Representation of the Academy, they said.
