Several boats that participated in an act of support for the President of the United States, Donald Trump, have sunk in Lake Travis, Texas, authorities confirmed this Saturday.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office has reported that they have received multiple emergency calls from boats that attended the event. “Several ships have sunk,” he said on his Twitter account.
Kristen Dark, public information representative for the office, has assured CNN that officials responded to “many distress calls” from ships with problems and confirmed the sinking of several of them.
A Facebook social network page created for the event assured that more than 2,600 people would attend. So far it has not been released if there are any injuries.
