Seven out of ten Japanese believe that the Olympic Games should be postponed or suspended again

Seven out of ten Japanese people who were consulted by a macro survey by the official Kiodo news agency believe that the Olympic Games postponed to 2021 should be postponed again or permanently suspended.

In fact, only 24 percent of Japanese are in favor of celebrating the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, while more than half of the population have criticized the government’s decision to lift the state of emergency as soon as possible to revive the economy.

This Saturday, the country recorded 622 infections, the highest number of daily cases since the alarm ended last May.
