At least seven civilians, including two children, were killed and 11 others injured in a car bomb explosion at the southern access point to the militia-controlled city of Ras al Ayn in northeast Syria. Bumps.
The Syrian state news agency SANA has reported that the vehicle was parked near a place where garbage was dumped in the Al Sinaa neighborhood. The explosion caused considerable material damage.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported what happened. According to eyewitnesses quoted by the DPA news agency, the explosion caused several houses to collapse nearby.
The pro-Kurdish news agency ANF has also reported on the explosion, which apparently took place near a meeting point and caused “many deaths and injuries”.
No group has taken responsibility for the attack, but the Syrian National Army, the Proturkish militia that controls the area, has attributed similar attacks to the Syrian Democratic Forces, a coalition of militias that includes the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG).
