Jelurida, a Swiss blockchain software development company, will collaborate with Accenture, the global management consulting and services company, on the development of the new blockchain-based project “Senator”.
This alliance became known in the blockchain radio program of Radio Intereconomía after winning the public tender from Correos, the state-owned company responsible for the provision of the postal service in Spain and through bilateral agreements of the postal service in Andorra together with the French company La Post.
Goals of the senator
The alliance, which enabled the launch and development of the new EU-funded project, aims to develop governance schemes for user demand planning, transport planning, logistics and urban infrastructures in order to optimally steer urban planning policy.
The selected network
This research and innovation project will leverage Ardor’s blockchain platform to the block chain, which, according to the parties involved, perfectly matches the technical requirements, since the project requires a public platform with more than 1,000 nodes, multi-chain, permit option and hybrid operation, with proof of participation in order to ensure low energy consumption and to meet the requirements of the Post and the EU.
In addition, the fact that this network has the ability to connect to other networks in the event that it should be necessary in the future was also important considering that bridges allow connection using blockchain protocols that work with the Ethereum Virtual Machine are compatible.
On the Ardor blockchain network, Kristina Kalcheva, director of Jelurida Swiss SA said that she is pleased that the Ardor network has been selected for Correos’ blockchain implementation.
We believe that its versatile features and scalable architecture will be key points that will determine the rapid and successful realization of the Senator project, and we look forward to working with our new partners to demonstrate the full potential of our blockchain technology . He commented.
