Saudi Arabia registers a maximum of coronavirus cases every day and adds three consecutive days with more than 3,000 infections

The authorities of Saudi Arabia confirmed a new daily maximum of cases this Monday, confirming that the country has three consecutive days that exceed the 3,000 infection threshold, for a total of 105,283.

The Saudi Ministry of Health has said 3,369 new infections have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, after 3,121 on Saturday and 3,045 on Sunday, while 34 more people have died, increasing the total number 746.

The spokesperson for the ministry, Muhamad al Abdelali, has made it clear that another 1,707 people have been released during this period, so there are 74,524 people who have passed COVID-19 in the country, as reported by the government agency Saudi News, SPA.

The country’s authorities imposed restrictions on Saturday in the city of Jeddah due to the increase in cases, including a curfew between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. (local time) and the closure of restaurants and cafes.
