Saudi Arabia is firing almost a number of high-ranking officials over alleged irregularities in mega-projects

About twenty high-ranking officials from Saudi Arabia were fired by royal decree due to alleged irregularities in various mega-projects, the official SPA news agency reported this Friday.

The Saudi authorities have identified more than 5,000 “violations” of project land in the Red Sea, which constitute a legal violation and have caused “environmental damage”.

For this reason, the Saudi government has ordered the dismissal of leaders and officials from the governorates of Medina, Tabuk, Asir, Umluj and Al Wajh, both administrative and military positions.
