Russian opponent Alexei Navalni, who has been in a coma since Thursday due to alleged poisoning, is being taken to a hospital in Germany after the doctors at the Omsk health center, where he was admitted, gave him final authorization this Friday, the Russian press reported .
Navalni’s family and those around him had demanded that the Russian authorities allow his transfer to the Charité hospital in Berlin since Thursday, but the Kremlin has relied on the advice of the Omsk doctors and they ruled this out and argued that the trip “many risks” for his life.
Navalni urgently needed to be hospitalized after the plane with which he was traveling from Tomsk to Moscow made an emergency landing in Omsk because the enemy was starting to feel ill.
His spokeswoman Kira Yarmish denounced right from the start that he had been poisoned with a substance in the tea he drank at the airport that morning. However, doctors claim that the main diagnosis they are considering is that he may have had a “metabolic disorder”.
