Russia exceeds 6,000 coronavirus deaths and increases the balance to more than 485,000 cases

The pandemic of the new corona virus, which originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, has left 171 dead and 8,595 infections in Russia in the last 24 hours, which corresponds to more than 485,000 infected and more than 6,000 deaths, the Russian center reports responsible for the fight against the Corona virus.

“171 people have died in the last 24 hours. A total of 6,142 people have died,” said a statement by the Russian news agency Sputnik. In the past 24 hours, “8,595 new cases of Covid-19 coronavirus infections, including 3,277 asymptomatic cases (38.1 percent), have been confirmed in 83 regions of Russia,” he said.

With the new data, the balance is 485,253 infected people, an increase of 1.8 percent over the previous balance. 1,572 new cases were discovered in Moscow in one day, increasing the total number of infected people in the Russian capital to 198,590, which is 40.9 percent of the total number of cases across the country.

Of the total number of infected people in Moscow, 42.2 percent are people between the ages of 18 and 45; 35.5 percent are between 46 and 65 years old; 9.8 percent between 66 and 79 years; and 5 percent are over 80 years old.

So far, 242,397 people have recovered from a coronavirus infection, including 11,709 who have been discharged in the last 24 hours. The pandemic has left more than 406,000 people dead and more than 7.1 million cases in 188 countries worldwide.
