Roger Ver, CEO of the main cryptocurrency website Bitcoin.com, now says the announcement to close the Bitcoin.com forum was premature..

Yesterday, the Bitcoin.com forum abruptly issued a warning about the upcoming shutdown of the forum on July 23. In the announcement posted by a forum administrator, the reasons for the action were not specified.

Then the CEO of Bitcoin.com, Ver, He said the forum will make a rollback announcement soon.

In an email to Cointelegraph on June 26, Ver wrote:

“That also surprised me and I think the announcement was premature. I suspect there will be a reversal announcement soon.”

Despite Ver’s answer, The closure alert remains in the forum of the Bitcoin.com website.

Roger Ver is one of the first users and investors of Bitcoin (BTC), who is now a big supporter of Bitcoin Cash (BCH), a cryptocurrency that was born from a Bitcoin fork in August 2017. In November, Ver said that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin, and predicted that it will have a larger market cap, trading volume, and user base in the future.

Despite retiring as CEO of Bitcoin.com in August 2019, Ver recently expressed interest in buying the Bitcoin.org domain in May 2020.
