Ripple payment statements come from ATMs in Japan

Ripple’s partner and investor, SBI Holdings, announced plans for iIntegrate Ripple’s payment processing with ATMs in Japan.

The news was released in SBI’s latest financial report, in which a plan to integrate MoneyTap, the Ripple settlement platform, with ATMs managed by various banks across Japan.

The integration is intended fMake it easier for consumers to access cash at ATMsregardless of your bank affiliation.

SBI claims that the integration of MoneyTap will also enable banks to reduce the operating costs of ATMs.

“At the moment, every bank has an ATM with its own banking application. However, with a common web application, the same ATM can be used as a separate ATM operated jointly by several banks.”

MoneyTap was launched in October 2019 for iOS and AndroidThis facilitates the immediate transfer via a QR code or a telephone number.
