Registered earthquake of 6.8 intensity in the Philippines

An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 on the Richter scale has been recorded this Saturday 56 kilometers from the Philippine city of Davao.

This has been reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) on its website, which has added that the tremor has taken place at 06.11 hours (local time).

For its part, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has specified through its Twitter account that the recorded earthquake does not pose a tsunami risk.
