Registered a fire in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Managua after a Molotov cocktail attack

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Managua suffered a fire this Friday after a person who had not identified entered one of their chapels and launched a Molotov cocktail inside. This event did not result in any casualties.

The Archdiodecis of Managua stated in a statement that this person entered the Chapel of the Blood of Christ in the cathedral, where “the sacred and venerated image of the Blood of Christ is preserved and the Blessed Sacrament is on display in his tabernacle”.

“A completely condemnable act of sacrilege and desecration, so we have to remain in constant prayer to defeat the evil forces,” added the archdiocese in the text published about her report on the social network Facebook.
