Putin insists that the “threat” to the spread of the coronavirus in Russia “has not stopped”

April 29, 2020

Russian President Vladimir Putin insisted on Tuesday that the “threat” of the spread of the corona virus in Russia “has not stopped” and called for compliance with the restrictions imposed.

“Someone might think that nothing terrible has happened, many do not see or feel the threat (…) but the danger of a wider and wider spread of the virus has not stopped,” said Putin on one of the Rossiya 24 television channels and collected by the Russian state news agency Sputnik.

In this sense, even though he realized that Russia is “moving in the necessary direction, dimension and pace”, he has indicated that it is premature to relax and that work continues to be prevented must make the pandemic progress.
